Gawsworth has its own popular village playgroup.  It operates five mornings a week from Monday  to Friday in the Scout Hut.  Many of our children commence their early formative education here and establish friendships prior to starting school. 
Valuable links are created between school and playgroup as on a termly basis we come together to take part in combined educational activities which serve to prepare the children for school life.
It is advisable to enrol your child early to be assured of a place.
